Thermocouple Sheathing

Thermocouple Sheathing of Silicon Carbide for Molten Aluminium and Zinc metals.

These Thermocouple Sheathings are made out of silicon carbide and carbide heaters are used for immersion in aluminium baths for molten metal temperature control. These tubes can withstand temperatures upto 1500 oC and are used in de-gasing of non-ferrous molten metals.

These tubes are made in such a way that the molten metal will not stick to it. Thermocouple Sheaths are available from 8 mm id - 14mm od upto 42mm id - 50 mm od, with lengths upto 2 meters. Our Thermocouple Sheathing allows molten metal temperatures to be controlled upto within one degree centigrade, thus reducing the rejection rates of castings considerabilly.
